After a few months of taking it slow I have a new project! I made a small Journal set that can be used while on the road to document your adventures and add your photos later in the folio.
There where several paper collections in the running to use for this project. Eventually I went for the “Lady Vagabond” and “Lady Vagabond Lifestyle” collection by Stamperia. From both collections I used one 8×8″ paper pack.
I started with the idea that I wanted to combine a signature for journaling with a folio for memory keeping. This idea has seen several versions during the last couple of weeks. Eventually I decided that it was easiest of you could use both pieces as an individual piece and keep it together in one spot. That became the base for the project.
For the signature I used a digital kit, called “steampunk journal kit” from “Vectoriadesign” on Etsy. It was really easy to print the digitals double sided on regular letter size copy paper and create the signature. The cover I printed on 65lb cardstock to give it a bit more strength. I decorated the cover of the signature with papers form the “Lady Vagabond” collection.
The folio itself I kept small and fairly simple. I used several pockets for the opportunity to use it as an ephemera holder before the photos are added in there. For decorating the folio I only used papers from the “Lady Vagabond lifestyle” collection. Although I did ad one background paper that can be found either in the “background selections” or the “Collectables” pack.
