Lady Vagabond’s trunk

This trunk was inspired by the first Lady Vagabond collection by Stamperia.

I loved the stack of trunks in the first Lady Vagabond collection and decided to try to recreate one of them. In another Stamperia collection (Voyage Fantastique) I found the perfect background paper to make the trunk I had envisioned.

Lately I am sort of addicted to color my white Tyvek with alcohol ink to create a leather look. And that’s what I did on this project again to create some nice detail work on the outside of the trunk. Combine that with some metal hardware and we have a great look.

On the inside of the trunk I went for a really clean finished look with a compartment that can hold an album. For decorating the inside I used papers from the new Lady Vagabond Lifestyle colection. These papers came from the Background selections.

In the lid of the trunk I decided to make a shallow compartment so the lid becomes a usable space as well. You can place some smaller and not to heavy elements in the lid and the shallow box will keep it in place.
