Birds & Feathers Folio – espresso project 5

After making this folio in my Facebook group out of cardstock I got inspired by other people to make a version with a chipboard cover. And then why not make a tutorial for it…

With the Birds of a feather collection by “paper rose” I managed to make 2 of these folios out of one 12×12″ paper pack.

Although its a ratter small folio, 7-3/8″ x 5-3/8″, it can hold approx 20 photos.

I used the 1/2″ strips from the bottom of the 12×12″ papers to create some bellyband features to hold photos behind. In this way you don’t cover up the beautiful paper permanently, also it just looks really great and gives you more photo opportunity!

The folio is made as a tri-fold cover which means that you have the three panels to build your elements on. When opened up you have this amazing spread.

On the middle panel there is a waterfall feature that is perfect for full size photos but can easily be used for smaller sizes as well. Once you constructed your cover the folio comes together really quick and decorating also doesn’t take long.

If you would like to make one (or more) version(s) of this folio you can download your cutting guide via the download button and follow along with the video on my YT channel.

Don’t forget to share your finished project in my Facebook group (Scrap, coffee and friends)
