Blossom Album

With the beautiful G45 Blossom collection I made this gatefold album, with a binding that make your pages lay totally flat! On top of that the elements in this album are so much fun to create and look amazing!

The element on the front of the first page is a design idea that was in my head ever since the release om my 2for1 Volume 1 albums. Finally I got around it and made it happen. From there is decided to use a lot of angles.

I always find the G45 collections a bit intimidating, beautiful but intimidating. Because the pages in this album are on the larger side I felt more comfortable in using the patterned papers of this collection, combined with the pattern & solids paper pack this album turned out stunning!

On the front inside cover I created an angled stacked pocket with an acetate window in the front pocket. I mean of course there is acetate in here!

Although all the pages in the album have a different design I made sure there is still a cohesive feel and look to the album. I achieved this by having the different elements return but change the design up a bit.

The combination of the deep blue with the aubergine purple was my favorite color combination within the collection. Because the elements create different layers on the page you really have a change to play with your patterned paper and create lots of interest.

My album holds 60+ photos mostly full size (6×4″) this can easily be increased to 70-80 photos because there is a lot of space in the pockets and between the pages.
