Endearments Album & Box

With the new Endearments collection by Nitwit collections I’ve created this shadow box that holds a mini album.

I love purple and butterflies, so as soon as I saw this collection I knew I wanted to do something special with it! After creating the memorybox I felt like creating more boxes and with that I came up with the idea of making this shadow box.

On the lid of the box I created this scenery with the gorgeous butterflies and pansies in the collection. For some extra bling I added some gems from the collection and some sequins from my stash. The check pattern in the collection was the perfect finishing touch! Even without opening the box there is already a wow factor!

For the cover of the album I was inspired by Celmascrap on YT. I saw this cover a while back and new that I wanted to do something like it, however I also new I wanted to protect it with a box, so now was the time. Again I created a scene with the butterflies and pansies and added some dimension to the butterflies. I love how the window in the cover creates that little peek into the album.

The inside of the album I kept really simple because there is already so much going on. I used the technique where you sew the pages on the spine. This comes together really quick.

Trough out the album I continued with the butterflies and used the pansies in the papers to decorate the pockets.

On the back inside cover I end with an acetate pocket so I don’t loose to much of the beautiful patterned paper. A little decoration on the edge of the pocket to finish it of.

I used the journaling cards to decorate the front of some small booklets that hold 3×4″ photos.
