Sometimes I just want to try some new stuff and make a project without filming. This album is the result of one of those projects.
I was inspired by Celmascrap on YT to make a small frame in the cover. After receiving my Krystal collection from Felicity Jane studio I new I had the perfect collection to try this out.
Also I wanted to try a different binding system, you can’t make these pages to heavy so I created a sort of scrapbook layout on the page and highlight 1 photo.
To add a bit more decorations I used a plain flower stamp from my stash that I fussy cut to use as embellishments, I used these flowers throughout the whole album. The collection came with these really cute wooden embellishments that gave a different texture to the layouts.
On the inside covers I created a pocket from acetate so I didn’t hide the beautiful paper. To break it up there is a small strip of a different patterned paper along the top of the pocket. The girl on the photo mat is Krystal from the collection.
The first page of the album is made out of acetate, you can use this to collage on or place a photo. However I loved the page behind it so much that I didn’t want to cover it. The charm on that page is also from the Krystal collection, it came in a package of 6 charms, I loved these so much that I have used them all on several projects!
I don’t have a tutorial for this album yet, however I am working on one with a different paper collection. Stay tuned on my YT channel, social media and of course on the website for that one!
