I’ve created this landscape direction mini album using the “Home Again” Collection By Carta Bella paper co. The collection is designed by Jen Allyson and is absolutely beautiful!
On the cover I’ve done something different than what I normally do. I’ve created a frame that is about 1/4″ high with an acetate window. Behind the window one of the 6″x 4″ cards out of the collection is highlighted. This piece is placed on top of the front cover.
I’ve made 3 pages in this album, however there is only 1 page design. This gives the album a consistent look, on the other hand every page has a individual look because of the decorating style.
On the back of each page I’ve created an element with an acetate window, just for fun, and area where I did some scrapbook layouts using stickers, ephemera and chipboard pieces out of the collection. sometimes combining this with a photo opportunity.
Throughout the album I’ve been using the “stitched Tags” die Cuts from the collection, using the tags in different ways. Creating a journal opportunity or making a scrapbook layout. On the back cover I used an idea that I got from Lm’s Crafty Creations, using hexagon shapes of the different design papers out of the collection. It was a time consuming task, because I only have a die for this shape, when you have a punch it will be a lot quicker! However I feel it was worth the time I spent on it because it turned out pretty awesome.
